A large manufacturing company, De Menken, that produces: sauces, salads, hummus and cold cuts. In this company we are looking for people for different departments, such as:

1. Meat production: working in meat processing, making sausages, hams, Carpaccio, etc.Throwing raw meat and spices into the mixing machines, grilling and foiling the sausages, packing the products, washing the machines and cleaning after production.

2. Production of cold cuts: cutting/packaging of cold cuts, hams, Carpaccio and other meat products. Purely production work. Work with machines cutting sausages, quality control of the produced product (checking the date, packaging, color of meat, etc.), independently setting up the printer for stickers - sticking labels, packaging, cleaning the workplace.

3. Salad mixing department: work in the preparation of salads according to orders. Work at the salad mixing machines, unpacking of the required ingredients, collecting and bringing (using wheeled trolleys) the required components from another department, inserting them into the mixing machine using a special lift, collecting the produced product and transporting it to the cold store, cleaning the machines and tidying up after production. Work in a wet environment.

4. Salad production: work in the production of salads, hummus, tapas and dips. Work at machines pouring products into packages, quality control of the produced product (checking stickers, date, packaging, etc.), packing products in boxes/crates, placing on pallets, taking pallets out with a backpack and cleaning the workplace.Persons assigned to work in production companies (food companies) must not have at work: false eyelashes, painted nails (no gel nails, hybrid nails, etc.) and long nails as well as jewelry and piercings. Nails must be short and well groomed.

- Knowledge of English or Dutch (communicative level);

- No contraindications to work in low temperatures +/- 5 degrees;

- Relevant work experience for at least 3 months;

- Availability to work for a minimum of 6 months or longer;

- High motivation and willingness to develop within the company;

- People assigned to work in food production companies are not allowed to have at work: false eyelashes, painted nails (gel nails, hybrid nails, etc. are forbidden), jewelery and piercings.

- Willingness to work during holiday periods;

- Willingness to cycle a bike to work.

Contract is through a temporary agency office. They offer housing. Free soups, tea and coffee are available at the canteen. Increases/change of function: Applicants for a permanent position in this company who fit into the function profile (communicative language) and show great motivation and flexibility can quickly receive a raise and start a training period. After a period of training (e.g. as an operator) you will be offered another raise. Possibility of a raise also by completing a free Dutch language course.
